WHAT
WE ARE: Support for homeschool support group leaders: The stress of
leading a support group in addition to educating caring for your family can
sometimes cause frustration or burnout. T.H.E. Coalition provides support and encouragement
for leaders so they can be refreshed and have something to offer the groups
that depend on them.
* An information
source: We serve as a clearinghouse for information that is of interest to home
educators
* An opportunity for
smaller groups to participate in larger events: We organize semi-monthly ice
skating, an annual spelling bee, and various other group events. Some of our
member groups offer workshops and other activities that they will open up to
all home educators.
* We are not a
statewide organization. Our ministry is to Tulsa and the surrounding areas.
WHAT WE DO
* Publish a
bimonthly newsletter:
* Maintain
an email loop for updates on events and items of interest between newsletters,
for subscribers. Send update requests to info@tulsahomeeducators.com
* Operate a book
benevolence ministry with free books for all homeschoolers.
