T.H.E. SERVICES Book Benevolence Ministry This unique part of Tulsa Home Educators offers free books, materials and curriculum to all home educating families. We gather materials from homeschoolers, private and public schools and make them available. Distribution Days: The third Saturday of each month, excluding December Distribution Times: 9:00 a.m.- Noon The new location is Jenks Church 2101 W. 118th Street South in Jenks. You can easily access this by going east 1 mile off of Hwy 75 on E. 121st St and then turning north on Elwood to 118th St. The building is on the west side of Elwood Ave. Times: Third Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m.- noon. Closed November and December. Tulsa Home Educator’s Leadership Coalition A Unique Support Group for the Leaders of support groups. We currently serve 35- 40 groups, coops, tutorial services and centers. All leaders are welcome. Dues are $20 per year and includes a subscription to THE NEWS. Two mandatory meetings per year with special speakers, handouts and resource materials to aid leader’s efforts. Reading /Grade Incentive Programs These are free programs and THE NEWS has made all the arrangements for you to participate!!! Braum’s Book Buddy Tulsa Home Educators has enrolled in this reading incentive program and you can get your reward stickers and cards through us or as an individual family. Braum’s Book Buddy is a fun and rewarding reading incentive program for children in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. Each child can earn up to six Braum’s treats throughout the year including a Single Dip Sundae, Kid’s Meal, Malt or Shake, and more! The best part...it costs nothing to participate. We’re happy to offer this program to elementary schools and home schools absolutely free! To enroll through Tulsa Home Educators: Send a SASE Legal Size for each student to: THE NEWS P.O.
